Orange Barrel Productions has been a special part of my life. I have worked with several different community theater groups, and there are none from my experience that provide the same atmosphere for relationship building and growth that Orange Barrel does. It is the perfect group to plug into for someone who desires to try theater for the first time. The director, Michele Bayko has a style that's friendly, encouraging, and stress-free. She values her casts and allows them to have a voice and be creative as they explore different characters and approaches. I grew up as a dancer, and when I experienced a difficult injury after graduating, I craved a way to still express myself on stage. Orange Barrel was the avenue I chose and within a short amount of time, I had built amazing friendships that years later, are still thriving; and developed a new passion for acting. Wether you are looking to develop your acting skills, or just desiring to do something that's fun and will allow you to learn new things and meet new people, I can not stand behind Orange Barrel enough!

I have been associated with OBPC for about the last five years. They are a family oriented community theater group who's productions run more to the classics such as 'Anne Of Green Gables', 'A Christmas Carole', 'It's a Wonderful Life', etc. It is also a great place for children's theater. They run it with christian values and "G" rated productions. A very well organized group putting on entertaining shows. If you are interested in acting, or have little ones who might enjoy the experience, I suggest you check them out.
